DESTINATION WEDDING TUSCANY

I met Sunai and Brett for the first time few hours before their intimate wedding in the stunning location they chose near San Galgano, Borgo Santo Pietro, and I immediately knew it would be great. The couple is from Florida, and decided to get married in Tuscany after their trip there in 2012. They loved the natural beauty of the hills, the indulgent flavours of Tuscan wine, and getting lost in the winding medieval towns. Forgoing the traditional wedding, they decided instead to make it a private and intimate day, something the two of them could experience together.

They wanted me to capture the day as natural as possible, which is a really common request, but I was still very excited to shoot their elopement. Everything was perfect. They wrote their own vows and Sunai walked down the aisle to the couple’s favorite song, Warm Love by Van Morrison. Sunai shined in the warm light of the afternoon and Brett was really excited and emotional. After the very intimate and touching celebration on the lake, we did a fun portrait session in the stunning grounds, which included using the on-premises trampoline for some great action shots. An afternoon full of emotions, I felt really happy of being their wedding photographer.
